My second post about buttons

Fuck Buttons, that is!  Ha, pulled a fakey.

I’ve heard about these guys through VICE (I think…) and their album just dropped so I checked out their MySpace.  UNbelievable, or at least the two songs they have up.  So Marc, if you’re looking for music, give them a listen.  I’m not sure what to compare them too…I’m sure there are some easy comparisons out there but I’m not very well-versed in the noise music genre.

I’ll probably go pick up their cd sometime this week.  Maybe I’ll use my cheque from the Internet supplement.  Oh, and they also take top prize for the best track title I’ve heard in a long, long time: “Okay, let’s talk about magic”.  I wonder what it sounds like.

P.s.  I grabbed the new Raconteurs album Consolers of the Lonely the other day.  Not bad, a little more polished than I what I was expecting.  It needs a bit of fat trimming too…it could easily be cut from 14 tracks to 9 or 10 and probably have way more impact.  Oh well.
